Create a beautiful illuminated cardinal glass block using colorful pieces of glass! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the basics of working with glass, including how to safely cut glass and how to arrange your pieces to create your design.

You’ll build your cardinal and surrounding foliage piece by piece, learning how color, shape, and texture come together to create a beautiful mosaic. Once completed, your glass block can be illuminated from within, allowing the glass and colors to beautifully glow and shine.

You’ll learn essential mosaic techniques from cutting and arranging to grouting. Mosaics often take longer than expected, so it may take longer than three hours to complete your project. Your fee covers any additional time it takes you to finish.

You may grout your piece in the studio after the curing period (48 hours) or, you may pay an additional fee to have me grout for you.
